Raul Jarquin is a dual citizen of the United States and Spain, currently residing in Spain. In addition to leading Kodexio, a USA based software technology company serving the art industry, he dedicates equal effort to photography, bookbinding, and woodworking.
Although Raul’s work often returns to landscape photography, he is also interested in the human condition and perception. For the last two decades, he chose not to exhibit publicly, sharing his creations primarily with his wife, Elizabeth. However, after living in Spain for the last two years, he began sharing his work with the local community.
Raul’s photography has been featured by the Washington Post, National Public Radio, and other USA media outlets. Both public institutions and private collectors have acquired his work.

Raúl Jarquín Sesma (Estados Unidos y España) reside actualmente en España. Su obra se centra en la fotografía de naturaleza, paisajes urbanos y la exploración de la condición humana y la percepción.
Aunque lleva bastantes años dedicado a la fotografía, muchos de sus trabajos han permanecido en el ámbito privado, incluyendo varias series inéditas hasta ahora. Tras establecerse definitivamente en España, creó, junto a su esposa Elizabeth Manegold, el Polaris Fine Art Studio, un espacio de creación y difusión de arte en el corazón cultural de la sierra de Madrid, San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Tras dos años viviendo en España, comenzó a mostrar su trabajo localmente.
La fotografía de Raúl ha sido destacada por The Washington Post, National Public Radio y otros medios de comunicación de Estados Unidos. Tanto instituciones públicas como coleccionistas privados han adquirido su obra.
